Paris is at only 20 km, here is a station at only 700 meters (RER C, station of Sainte Geneviève des Bois) and you can reach the strategical points of Paris as St Michel Notre Dame, Invalides, Tour Eiffel,...). Last train is at 1.00 on the morning so you can take your time to have dinner or to see Paris by night.
